01 Getting started
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a physical SIM card, you can activate a mobile data plan by scanning a QR code. Your existing SIM can remain in your phone.
Your phone must support eSIM technology and be carrier-unlocked to use a Simzii plan. Check your device settings or manufacturer’s specifications to confirm compatibility before purchasing.
Yes. You can usually keep your existing phone number and continue using your regular SIM for calls and messages, while using your Simzii eSIM for mobile data. Check your device settings to ensure the correct SIM is selected for each service. Your Simzii data plan does not automatically include a new phone number.
02 Installing
We recommend installing your eSIM before travelling, while you have a stable Wi-Fi connection. Depending on the plan, its validity may begin during installation or when it first connects to a supported network, so check your plan details before installing.
After purchasing your plan, follow the installation instructions provided by Simzii. Connect to Wi-Fi, open your phone’s mobile or cellular settings, and add an eSIM by scanning the QR code provided. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. You may need to enable data roaming for your Simzii eSIM once you arrive at your destination.
eSIM transfers depend on your device, network and plan. Simzii eSIMs may not be transferable once installed or activated. Please check the applicable plan terms or contact our support team before changing devices. We recommend confirming compatibility before installation.
03 Plans and top ups
Once you have used your allocated data, your connection may stop until you purchase an eligible top-up or another plan. Top-up availability depends on your destination and plan. Check your plan details for any available options before your data runs out.
Some Simzii plans cover a single country, while regional plans work across multiple supported destinations. Check the coverage list for your chosen plan before purchasing to make sure all your destinations are included. Country-specific plans may not work outside their designated coverage area.
04 Payments and invoices
Available payment currencies are displayed at checkout. Your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion fees if your payment method uses a different currency. Any applicable fees charged by your provider are outside Simzii’s control.
Your purchase confirmation and invoice details will be provided after checkout, where available. Check the email address you used when making your purchase, including your spam or junk folder. If you cannot find your invoice, contact Simzii support with your order details so we can assist.
